Q:What is the " 1Audit"?

It is an audit program designed by auditors to support and manage the contracted audit process in easy and effective manner. The 1Audit provides flexibility in access to work papers, review manuals and control the users permissions according to their roles.


Q:Is it free?
  • Registration in the "1Audit" is not free, you can visit the main page of the sustem to view the details of the subscription price.
  • 1Audit provides a free trial period.
Q:What are the languages used in the 1Audit ?

1Audit supports Arabic and English languages.

Q:What are the payment methods available to use in the system?
  • Bank transfer
  • Visa
  • Master Card
  • MADA
Q:In completing the registration process, what is the short name ?

It is the short name of your firm, which you will be sign in by using it, the short name must not exceed 5 characters.

Q:How can I access my account if I forgot my password?

From the login page:

  • Click on Forgot Password.
  • Enter the email address that you used during the registration process in order to send a link to it.
  • Click on the link in the sent message.
  •  Set a new password.
Q:How many users I can add to the system?

You can add an unlimited number of users for the system without any additional cost.

Q:How much storage space for the software ?

It is unlimited.

Q:In case I have a problem, how can I communicate with the customer service?

You can reach us through “Create a Ticket” by following these steps:

  1. Pass the cursor over the username on the upper right corner of the page to access the drop-down menu. 
  2. Select a support center.
  3.  On the Customer Support Center page, press “Create Ticket”.
Q:I registered in the software on behalf on the entity, and I would like to transfer administrator to another user ?

1Audit allows the “software administrator” privilege.
This feature appears to who is first registered in a “1Audit” account.

From the “Administrator” option, you can transfer the administration of the software to another user in the organization/company, by following these steps:

  1. Pass the cursor over the user name in the upper right corner of the page to access the drop-down menu.
  2. Select “Firm Settings.”
  3. Choose the “Administrator” option from the options bar shown on the left of the page (English interface).
  4. Select the user name “New Administrator” from the menu.
  5. Press the “Change” button.
  6. An e-mail will be sent that contains the verification code for the initial user “Last Administrator.”
  7. Once you enter the verification code and press the “Send” button, the software will activate the new user “Administration” option.
Q:Can I change the E-mail of a user of the system?

Yes, you can change the E-mail to any user/stuff by following these steps: 

  1.  Pass the cursor on the "Dashboard" option from the top of the toolbar. 
  2. Select "staff list". 
  3. Click on the "Edit" button against the name of employee.
  4. Change the Email, then press "Save".
Q:What are the conditions to be provided in the Excel file when you upload the trial balance?

Before you begin importing a trial balance for the software, there are several conditions that must be available on the balance to import

  1. The software supports trial balance in this formats (CSV – XLS).
  2. You must make sure there are no merge cells in Excel file and all titles are in the first row.
  3. The trial balance must contain: the name of the account, the account balance and account code, with preferably a balance for three years.
Q:How can I get the "Help Guide" of the software?

You can view the guide by following these steps: 

  1. Pass the cursor on the option "Knowledge base" button in the top of the toolbar.
  2. Select "Help".
Q:Can i remove a previously created client on the program?

yes, anyone who has permission to delete a client from the list of clients, but must first delete all audit files for this client and then update the page to show you the button "remove"

Q:I can not delete the audit file for a client and it does not show me the delete button either!

You will not be able to delete the audit file and it will not show you the delete icon only after removing all supporting documents uploaded to this file.

Q:When an Excel file is imported into the program the date or numbers are not read correctly, Why?

When importing an Excel file into the program, you must make sure that the date column set as a "date format" as well as a column of numbers with a (number format) by following these steps:


  1. Select the date / numbers column in the excel file.
  2. From the toolbar at the top of the excel file there is an option (Data) and then choose the option (Text to columns).
  3.  A popup window will appear containing three steps.
  4.  In the first step, mark the first option (Delimited), then press on the Next button.
  5.  In the second step, mark the option (Space) and press on the Next button.
  6. In the third step, in case the problem is with the numbers, put a mark on the (General) option, but if the problem is with the date, mark the (Date) option with the appropriate format as it is in the excel (Example: Day Month Year) then press End button.
  7. Upload the Excel file after coordinating the date column or the numbers column on the program and it will appear to you correctly.
Q:How do I get my subscription invoices?
  • When you sign in to the system, pass the cursor over the username on the upper right corner of the page to access the drop-down menu.
  •  Select (Subscription).
  • You will see the system's subscription invoices page, which contains a section (Due invoices) and another section (Invoices History), which are all previously paid invoices.
Q:How can I record and verify my subscription payment?

If you paid the subscription by bank transfer, you need to verify the payment process from within the system every time by following these steps:

  •  Pass the cursor over the username on the upper right corner of the page to access the drop-down menu.
  • Select (Subscription).
  •  On the Subscription invoices page, in the (Due invoices) section, you will find in front of each invoice a green button called (Pay).
  • Click on the Pay button, then write the transfer date and reference number, then attach a copy of the transfer.
Q:How can I add balance to the wallet?

When add balance to the wallet, you will not need to verify the invoices due for payment each time, as the system will deduct the monthly dues from your wallet balance automatically.
To add funds to your wallet, follow these steps:
• Pass the cursor over the username on the upper right corner of the page to access the drop-down menu.
Select (Subscription)
• On the Subscription invoices page, click on (My Wallet).
• Write down the amount, then click on "Add Credit".

Q:What is the client portal service?

“Client Portal” is an online platform  to colloborate and share files remotely between the (auditor) and (client)

Q:I finished working on the audit file, then I noticed that the file belongs to another client and I do not want to delete it and re-work on it again. What should I do?

Those who have the permission can do this by following these steps:

  • Enter the audit file (to be transferred).
  • From the "Client Information" tab, it shows you the "Client ID" title.
  • From the list, select the Client ID which you want to transfer the audit file for it.
Q:How can I restrict access to audit files, so that they are not visible to all users?

The one who has the permission can prevent other users from access to the audit files by following these steps:

  1. Pass the cursor over the (Dashboard) option at the top and choose from the list (Roles and Permissions).
  2. Click on the (Edit).
  3. Click on the title (Audit file).
  4. Go to the permission (View all audit files).
  5. Mark on the role you will give access to all audit files or unmark.
  6. By unmark the role, the user associated with this role will only be able to see the audit files that will be added to the file review team.
Q:Can I delete working papers and can they be restored after deleting them?

Yes, the one who has the permission can delete one or more working papers from the audit file and restore them by following these steps:

  1. Enter to the working paper index page.
  2. Click on the folder that contains the working paper you want to delete, then in front of the working paper name you will find delete icon.
  3. To restore a delete working paper, you will find an icon in front of the working paper index title in blue color, click on it and from the list that appears for you, put a mark on (Show deleted work papers).
  4. The deleted working papers will appear in its own folder, and on the right press (Restore) button.
